Extended – You will be working Solo on this.

We are going to create a class Dinosaur Museum to display for your parents, other classes, and especially our 5th Grade Buddies. You may choose to do one of these activities or all of them to create your display. Choose carefully; your goal is to show your learning.

• Display your dinosaur. How will you do this? Does it need a table? A wall? A hanging space? If you are hanging it, what will you need to do that? Make sure your dinosaur is labeled with its name and size. (Visual-Spatial)

• Display your research. How will you do this? Will you use pictures drawn in your Science Journal? Will you use iPad recordings? Will you use writing you may have done? Will you need to glue written work onto card stock for display? Will it hang or lie flat? (Visual-Spatial; Verbal-linguistic; Naturalistic)

• Display your comparisons from your Developmental activities. Will you use iPad recordings? Pictures or writing from your Science Journal? Will you use information from the class graph? Will you show a movie? (Logical-Mathematical)

• Display close ups of your work. You will need to choose what you consider most important for your viewers to know and then carefully draw an enlarged, labeled version. Glue this onto card stock for display. Will it hang or lie flat? (Visual-Spatial; Naturalistic; Logical-Mathematical)

• Add sound effects to your display. How will you do this? Record and play it on an iPad? Stand by your display and make the sounds with tools/instruments you found? Have tools/instruments for viewers to play? (Musical-Rhythmic)
