Extended – Solo
- Using the dinosaur you studied with your 5th Grade buddy (or choose another dinosaur) make its skeleton from blocks and turn it into a Museum display for your classmates. Make sure you have its name and time period. Label its parts. (Logical-Mathematical; Visual/Spatial; Bodily/Kinesthetic; Naturalistic)
- Write a story about a day in the life of the dinosaur you studied. (Verbal-Linguistic)
- Choose two dinosaurs to compare. Draw them on poster-sized paper. What is the same about them? What is different? Why do you think they have these similarities/differences? Present your information to the class.
- Make a graph of the number of meat eaters and plant eaters the class studied. Which do we have more of? Why do you think that is? Record the story of your findings on an iPad. (Logical-Mathematical)
- Create different sounds to represent different types of dinosaurs. Use anything, within safety reasons, that might make appropriate dinosaur sounds. For example, what might a Hadrosaur sound like? Perform your theatre of sounds for the class. (Rhythmic-Musical)
All findings presented to the class.
